No support for countries other than the US? What gives?
I would love for everyone to have a chance to try WeatherMin, but unfortunately the data provider I'm using only supports locations within the United States. I'm currently investigating alternatives for the next free update in order to provide weather data world wide.
Why isn't WeatherMin showing an accurate forecast?
WeatherMin tries to find the closest and most accurate weather station for your location. Unfortunately, some weather stations return information that's old, from a spot with unusual temperatures, or is just plain wrong. If you continue to notice problems, send an email to address below with the name of your town.
How come WeatherMin is so slow to update its forecast?
WeatherMin checks for new data hourly. This is a limitation of the NOAA API, but I am looking for alternatives to provide more up to date information.
WeatherMin shows [Latitude],[Longitude] instead of my city name!
This can happen when the reverse geocoding service WeatherMin uses to get the location name is either down or throttling requests. WeatherMin will continue to try to update the name in the background. Or, you can turn Core Location updates off and manually set the location in preferences.
